SUMMER WORKSHOP, 2013
To keep children engage in their summer holidays, this year the Birla Academy of Art & Culture is planning to arrange a Summer Workshop. During the span of last 27 years, the Academy conducted many workshops on art & craft successfully and the responses from the participants remained quite encouraging. This year the Academy proposes to hold classes on Paper Cutting, Mask Making & Glass Painting, Water Colour Painting, Oil Painting, Gond Painting, Meditation and Stress Therapy.
The detail of the workshop:
Workshop commences from May 24 to June 9, 2013 (except Sundays and Mondays) and workshop of Gond Painting, Meditation & Stress Therapy commences from May 28 to June 9, 2013 (except Sundays and Mondays).
The last date of admission : May 22, 2013
The workshop is divided in three sessions:
Session – I (Age limit 5 to 10 years):
Subjects : 1. Paper Cutting, Mask Making &
Glass Painting
2. Water Colour Painting
Timings : 11 a.m. to 12 .30 p.m.
Session – II (Age limit 10 years and above):
Subject : Oil Painting
Timings : 4.30 p .m. to 6 p.m.
Session – III (Age limit 10 years and above):
Subject : 1. Gond Painting
2. Meditation and Stress Therapy
Timings : 5 p .m. to 6 p.m.
Participants are expected to bear the cost of the materials.
3) Japanese Quilling Craft
Workshop commences from May 24 to June 9, 2013 (except Sundays and Mondays)
The last date of admission : May 22, 2013
Age limit : 12 years and above
Timings : 11 a.m. to 12. 30 p.m.
Participants are expected to bear the cost of the materials
On the concluding day of the workshop, participants will be given a certificate for the said training.
