Jairam Ramesh is presently a Member of Parliament and Chairman of Parliament’s Standing Committee on Science & Technology, Environment, Forests & Climate Change. He has been Union Minister and has held several key portfolios. He is the author of several well-known books that include three biographies of Indira Gandhi, P.N. Haksar and V. K.  Krishna Menon which won a prestigious award.
