The painting includes thirty two different aspects of Lord Siva composed each within a ovoid area. Seated, standing, riding on Nandi Siva is shown sometime alone and at times with Uma, Parvati, Krishna, Lakshminarayana etc. He is seen as a dancer(nataraja) as a great beggar(viksatana) as teacher(dakshinamurti) etc.
